My new haircare routine!

Lately, I have changed my hair routine since I've dyed my hair red.  I wanted a shampoo that would help to make the colour last.  I was using head and shoulders, no conditioner and then some Moroccan oil before drying my hair.  It did work for me, but I fancied a change.

I was on a mission in boots...

This is Aussie's colour mate shampoo and conditioner.  Normally, I don't use a conditioner because I find my hair gets greasy when I use conditioner.  I apply the conditioner to the ends of my hair and not at the roots.  Using both of these products has left my hair feeling really soft and nourished.  I have a sensitive scalp and I have had no problems so far! *fingers crossed*
Plus, I think the shampoo smells like almonds - divine!

I'm not using my Moroccan oil at the moment because I think my hair would get really heavy from all the products.  I use Moroccan oil as a heat protector, so I went on the hunt for a spray of some sort.

I'm currently using TRESemme's Heat Defence.  My hair feels smoother when I use this heat defence.  I don't think I will be skipping heat protector anytime soon!

(P.s - my spell checker is telling me that I should correct TRESemme to Threesome - CHEEKY!)

So now I'm a skater girl???

My latest obsession are skater skirts.  Even though it's still cold, I wear these beautiful skirts with tights or leggings.

I don't know why I need four skater skirts, no that's a lie, River Island had 2 of the skirts on sale for £10 each. I fell in love and bought 2 more. So don't blame me, blame River island. Plus, I'm helping the economy :P

I think I've featured this skirt before and it was on sale 3 weeks ago when I bought it. I went to River Island yesterday and they still had a few of these left on sale. You might be lucky. I think what drew me to this skirt was the geometric pattern!
I think this skirt will be one of my staple items in my wardrobe. I think this skirt will be very versatile, I can dress it up or down and I love the baroque print!
You can blame Estee from essiebutton and especially this post: Crazy for Coral!  Not only I'm obsessed with skater skirts, but now I'm obsessed with coral...
I had to have a denim skirt to. I can just chuck on a top and go with this skirt.

All the skirts featured are from River Island
I'm not promoting River Island, I just really like their skirts.
If there are skater skirts left in the sale they should be around £10, but if they're not in the sale they are around £16.
Also, New look have some for around £15.

Mini Haul!

Yes, I went shopping....
In my defence there was a sale in RiverIsland and I had a voucher + it was 3 for 2 in boots...
I bought four things.

This is a red geometric print skater skirt (according to the website).  I picked this up because I thought it would be nice to wear now with thick tights or legging, but also it will look nice in the summer!  RiverIsland have tons of skirts on sale in this style! I would go and have a look if I were you.
This skirt is on sale on the website for £10 at the moment! ( I got it in store for £10 too!) They only have size 16 and 18 left at the moment.  Sorry if it's gone, but here is the link = red geometric print skater skirt

Then I went to boots.

I really wanted a foundation brush.  I have an ecotools foundation brush, but when that gets really dirty I want to switch brushes. ( Realtechniques are supposed to be the best around - we'll see!).  So I bought a stippling brush. I've saw Tanya Burr use this for her foundation, so it's her fault that I bought it...  I liked the way her foundation looked on her after she used this brush.

I thought, I might as well try another brush because it's 3 for 2 at Boots so I picked up the Realtechniques powder brush.  I've been using sponges for my powder foundation for years, now is the time to use a proper brush!  I have to admit, when I got home I opened the brushes straight away and they are really soft. (Yes, I'm strange.)

So, I had what I wanted, but oh dear, I have to pick up my "free" item or the 3 for 2 offer wouldn't work.  I'm so disappointed... HAHA! It was an excuse for me to buy a coral nail polish and coral is on trend this season.  I picked up Essie's Cute as a Button. It's a pinky coral and I'm very excited to try it. Nail of the Day coming soon.

Have you bought anything in the sales?

P.S, I'm on the hunt for a coral handbag.  Found one in outfit but it was £45, I do love it, but that's too expensive. Any suggestions?
